KL Serviced Residences: Staycation Near Greenbelt Makati + Dream Condo Aesthetics!

Monday, June 17, 2019

I had a workation (work + staycation) last Friday in a property in Makati called KL Serviced Residences. I had lots of stuff to do around the area before the big India trip this weekend, so staying for a night in a more central location worked well in my favor as I live in the south.

Aside from getting things done without tiring myself from spending most of my time in transit, I also had the chance to catch up with my friends Ava and Ashley (with my inaanak Aki). Although Ashley just spent the day with us, they went home late nadin so it's nice that they had time to rest muna while waiting for Justine.

Anyway, sharing some pictures and insights about my 1 night stay in KL Serviced Residences. Room type where I stayed in is their 1 Bedroom Loft, located at the 30th floor.

If you know anyone visiting Manila and looking for a place to stay, or someone working overtime in Makati area and need an affordable room for a night or two, then this hotel is highly recommended! In my books, it is also an ideal location for Christmas parties and other small group togethers like bridal or baby showers. ❤

Heading inside my 1 Bedroom Loft, and amazed by its size!

Here's the living room area right in front of the kitchenette. I love the high ceiling and glass windows--it makes the room even classier and bigger.

Unintentional nude tones twinning!

Ideal condo unit size and interiors:

What I love about KL Serviced Residences

1) Location. It is walking distance from Greenbelt 1, and they have a park right in front! If I were to stay here longer, will definitely spend longer time in the park and make sure to try out the popular third wave coffee shops of Makati!

Some corners of the park has Japan vibes! Wearing almost all Mossimo (shirt, pants, bag):

2) Price. I checked their Agoda listing, and saw that they have rooms for as low as Php 3800+! The One Bedroom Loft in Agoda is only around Php 5450 (exclusive of other charges).

3) Spacious. Our room is so big, it can actually accommodate my whole family! Or it can also be a next venue for future parties!

4) Complete Amenities. They have everything you're looking for in a hotel: a gym, a sauna, a spa, and a swimming pool. Restaurants, shopping malls, ATM machines, and a 7Eleven are all just walking distance. KL Serviced Residences is an ideal accommodation for travellers looking for a comfortable but not so pricey room to stay in Makati.

KL Yard is located in the 7th floor. They have the pool, gym, and sauna in this area:

5) Room is also complete! It has a kitchenette with a big ref, a microwave, plates, bowls, cutleries, cooker, etc. It has enough plugs for charging, TV on both floors, toilet and bath on both floors, a terrace / balcony, towels and all toiletries you'll need for a short stay, etc.

Bought snacks and drinks from the nearby 7Eleven and brought them to our loft:

The kitchenette has a ref, a microwave, an oven and stove, etc.

Complete things you'll need when you prepare food. Complimentary water is also in a refillable glass bottle.

6) Interiors. Love the design of the place! Very modern and still homey. It has the vibe and aesthetic that I want to have when I own a unit already! Not only their rooms, even their lobby, pool area, and restaurant are very 'aesthetic". I am sure the Instagram kids will love KL Serviced Residences!

The view from our balcony:

What I don't like about KL Serviced Residences

1) Just a minor issue, but my Grab cannot stop right in front of the entrance of the property because it's in a main road. I had to drop off across the street in front of the park with my luggage.

(NOTE: Make sure to pin KL Serviced Residences Soria Street, at the back of the building, for your pick-up and drop-off)

2) I also noticed that the hot water won't reach the shower of the second floor. Had to take a bath on the first floor of the loft, where heater works just find.

Anyway, let's head up and check the bedroom!

Sama din daw si Aki, hehe!

Before the bedroom is another small room to my left, which is an office space! Wasn't able to use this area, but a much appreciated feature especially for those who will stay here longer.

Don't know what I am doing here too, haha! Checking the first floor area from the office:

Aki and Ninang Ava.

The cozy bedroom is also well-designed. It also has a closet with robes, hotel slippers, laundry bag and a hair dryer.

And, as mentioned earlier, it has its own toilet and shower room aside from the one downstairs. Both with complete towels and toiletries such as dental care sets, body wash, shampoo, etc.

Last but not the least, here's the breakfast place located at the ground floor of the hotel, next to the reception area. Salads, breads and fruits area served buffet style, while you can choose your main dish from a menu. For vegetarians, they have vegetable curry or oatmeal. For drinks, they have juices and coffee. Everything's delicious and served fresh!

KL Serviced Residences is managed by Hospitality Innovators, Inc. (HII), a team that specializes in the management and operation of properties such as hotels, serviced residences, condotels, residential condominiums and resorts.

I didn't realize that I've stayed in some of their properties including Azumi Boutique Hotel in Alabang and ACEA Subic Bay. They all have something in common, including beautiful interiors and great service from their staff! Might as well add that my stay here felt safe even when we are all girls in the room, because of the 24-hours security and reception service at the lobby.

KL Serviced Residences is located in 117 Gamboa Street Legaspi Village, Makati City.
Follow them on Facebook and their Instagram @klservicedresidences for more information and updates, or visit http://www.kltower.ph to book for your next staycation!

Can't wait to go back with my family. ❤
