Anagon: Visiting BTS POP-UP : SPACE OF BTS in Metro Manila (SM Megamall)

Just before the New Year (and surge of cases), my friends and I went out of our shells to meet-up and visit the new BTS Pop-Up: Space of BTS in SM Megamall. This is the second official BTS pop-up store here in Manila, Philippines.

This installation offers different BTS merchandise from the first one (BTS Pop-Up: Map of the Soul), which we were also able to visit around June last 2021. They have more Boy With Luv and Idol merch, and new TinyTan items. Although also located in the same mall, the latest pop-up is at the Upper Ground level of SM Megamall Building B.

Compared to the first BTS Pop-up, there were no freebies during the visit. The last time, they gave snap wristbands and postcards to all goers, regardless if you bought anything from the store. There were lesser photo corners too.

Meanwhile, the Space of BTS is more well-lighted and I think even more spacious than the first pop-up. They still have a huge screen where they played BTS music videos on loop, and the allotted persons per schedule also felt just right to comfortably go around, shop, and take photos. Line during purchasing time wasn't bothersome, and they have a variety of payment methods available too (cash, card, e-payment like GCash and PayMaya).

Just like our first visit, I decided to get a few souvenirs from the store. I bought a mini figure of the new Jimin TinyTan Dynamite and a Jimin Gel Pen. Price range also varies, but they have as low as Php 200+ for their pens or oil blotter. They have useful stuff like slippers, towels, and mugs that you can use everyday. They have items meant for displaying, and most of the expensive ones are the clothes like the shirts, polo, and robes.

Booking for a BTS Pop-Up slot is still via MorningKall website. You can only book for one ticket, which is already good for two persons. You will receive an email with your reservation number, which you will show at the entrance around 15 minutes before your time slot. You can also do walk-in.
