Day 20. A photo of something you enjoy doing:

I remember in my final interview for a big company, back during the days I was "lost" and was willing to be employed, the big boss asked me why I deserve to get the job. I told them it's because "I love writing." He then said "You love writing? I write everyday, and I hate it!"

Hearing this from someone who's living my dream (and a veteran, at that!) sunk all the positive, idealistic fresh grad soul that I had. How could someone hate something that he is doing, and something I so dream to become?? I realized that maybe some people just work for a living. When I turn out to be a writer, I know I am working to live.

I love writing, till now, no matter how cheese crap and emo the turn out of my yester-year works had become (now that I look back on them hehe). It has become a natural outlet at the present, and some time soon, they are good records of what and how I had been before.

I still keep an "off-line diary"--the medium that started it all, for me. I might not regularly write in it compared to my younger years, but it has been a good SECRETary of deeper things which can't be confided in my beloved Blogspot. But writing here in Anagon's Blog is also a cool journey, of meeting fellow online writers making their difference, no matter how small, in this difficult world. :)

"Which is why I am writing this book. To think. To understand. It just happens to be the way  I'm made. I have to write things down to feel I fully comprehend them."

  1. I can't believe I'm missing the AB uniform! Hihi.

Writing is therapeutic 'no? It's unfair that the people who don't enjoy the activity as much have the job. There are so many great writers out there who would give almost anything to be in their respective positions.

I heart Toru Watanabe. He's my fictional crush! <3
