Back to Burgundy +The Cute Vivere Salon Style My Dad Winners!

Wednesday, July 02, 2014

Transitions, mostly to girls, involve the hair. Drastic cut for the brokenhearted (pixie? :p). A milestone (mostly every new school year or birthdays) reflected and made physically obvious with a new hair dye or highlights. For me right now, I am taking the crowning glory makeover to mark a new season: end of summer, and the start of rain.

...Literally and figuratively.

Bye summer blonde locks!

I decided to go back to red-brown shade when I visited the Vivere Salon at the SM Megamall. The ash brown shade last summer was fun, and it satisfied the experimental and change-seeker in me. But I realized that took a little getting-used-to. Also, nagsawa din ako with the look after a while.

Nakakatuwa nung binoblowdry na hair ko after the coloring and cutting, parang feeling ko I recognize myself more while looking at myself in the mirror. Ako to! Haha. :p Also, my hair looks healthier!

I will actually commend Vivere Salon's service: They are super fast! I did not waste time in the salon, we started right away and ended around 3 hours (for both hair color and haircut na). I also love when Sir Hector, my hairstylist, explained about my hair's bagsak, past hair dye concerns, and what cut and color suits me. It was also a busy day at the salon, but he made sure all my concerns were met.

Favorite part: While his assistant did the finishing touches to my hair, Sir Hector came to me and exclaimed: "Beautiful!" Haha! :)

Lace Cover Up - Chase (Fairview Terraces) | Dress - Forever21 | Sneakers - Payless | Bag - TMart | Necklace - Charlotte Russe | Photos - @sarahtirona

Not sure why I went for a summer look yesterday, but I just wanted to use my new lola cardigan that I scored during our bloggers fieldtrip last weekend at the Fairview Terraces. It came from the fairly-new co-ed fashion store Chase. Not obvious, but it perfectly matches with my white paisley sneakers. :)

Now, here are the winners of the Vivere Salon Style My Dad giveaway blog and FB giveaway last Fathers Day! Congrats again to the winners: Hedy Mae Bautista and dad Hermie Bautista, Francis Basilio and dad Francis Basilio, and Aileen Laurio and dad Gervic Laurio. All dads deserve this treat!

...They all look handsome, noh!?? :D Thank you again and again Team Vivere Salon for being such gracious hosts. Visit Vivere Salon at Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Ermita, SM Megamall, Marquee Mall, Lucky Chinatown, or Festival Mall. For more info and updates, like them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
