Urban Apparel Opens in Alabang Town Center

Stylish, yet never taking itself too seriously.
Urban Apparel brings five of the fashion world’s most fun-loving brands to Metro Manila: Tokyo Laundry, Tally Weijl, Fresh Brand, Strawberry Fields, and Mr. Miyagi and Co.  Wearing a Tally Weijl loose cardigan for yesterday's crafts class and Saturday movie and food trip: Cardigan - Urban Apparel | Shirt and DIY Pants - Uniqlo | Sneakers - Converse | Photos - @listentoarnie

“We want every visit to Urban Apparel to be a different experience for our customers,” says Vinny Genomal, Director. “Shopping should be as fun and exciting as the clothes you buy, and that’s what we aim for.”

A step into Urban Apparel’s chic interiors unveils a sense of art behind its design. The perfect backdrop for its street style pieces. Visited its new branch in ATC.

Pax's Circus-Themed VC Birthday!

I have to give it to Pax for throwing the MOST-EPIC-EVER birthday parties since 2012 (HAHA). One time, we celebrated in a posh resto-bar in Makati, and siya lang ang nakapag-pakanta sa akin in public with a live band in front of so many people! :p We had too much to drink, but I can still remember the good alternative music we all danced along with the whole night, and the laugh trip that usually goes along with Anagon intoxicated with Red Horse. HAHA.
Anyway, for Pax's 21st (walang kokontra! lol) last week, we celebrated again with around 50 mix of people from Pax's family, neighbor barkada, fashion friends, blog friends, high school and college friends, etc... and, take note, in the CIRQUE PARTY ROOM of Victoria Court, Pasig! That time I was thinking, grabe only Pax can get away with something like this!
The Queen!

NEW HANGOUT: The Butcher Shop & Pub

Ever since my addiction to How I Met Your Mother, I've always been dreaming of my own barkada pub ala the fiction bar MacLaren's. A hangout place where me and my friends can overstay till dawn after a long day of work, bet on something, or pull off a "Have you met Ted?" with my own wingman (haha!). Of course, plus points if they serve good food, variety of drinks, matched with a chill and homey ambiance, AND the "price is right". I actually ticked these qualities in the new The Butcher Shop & Pub when I dined there last night along with some blog friends and my MadTV family. Parang gusto ko siyang gawing regular go-to place!

Beauty & Butter: Menu and Price List

I've been a "Butter Girl" for a long time already (check out myfirst Beauty and Butter experience), and all my visits in their Megamall branch were for mani-pedi and foot spa. But actually, this spa-salon also offers more than just nail, hand, and foot care... They also have facials, waxing, and spa! Check out the Beauty and Butter's complete menu below.

The Hippie Life at Circle Hostel Zambales

Ever since dad's vegetarianism and Beatles influence, I've always felt that I am a hippie at heart. I love the lie-low, hang loose life, and although I can express this through my personal style or my choices in life (work that is art related, never the 9 to 5 job), I haven't really tried hippie living till last long weekend at The Circle Hostel Zambales. It was indeed an experience.

The Circle Hostel is a chain of budget-friendly eco-hostel in the Philippines. Perfect for the artsy and the adventurous, Circle Hostel has branches in surf-spots Zambales, La Union, and soon in Baler.

Win One Year Supply of Burgers at Teddy's Bigger Burgers

I know, I know. What was I doing in a BURGER place last Wednesday night? First, although a vegetarian, I love diner foods and good company (my friends told me they were going, so I thought why not!?). And also, I got very curious as to what Teddy's Bigger Burgers has to offer to us Pinoys. I also heard about their 1 year supply promo, na kailangan kong ibalita sa sisters ko (who are big burger fans!).

Converse Fall 2014 Collections

Yesterday's biglang ulan (which equates to even heavier traffic when here in Metro Manila) caused so much stress, but I am glad I was able to habol in Converse's Fall 2014 sneak peek event. I was talking with the PR that I am a big Converse fan talaga (it seemed like a private event na 'cause when I got there almost pack up na, waha! Thank you for accommodating me padin Ms. Judi and to your team!), although I realized that all the pairs I bought before are the basic Chucks--black, gray, and white. The new designs for Converse Fall 2014 they had on-display yesterday made me want to be more experimental with my sneakers--like the leather Jack Purcell, or even the rain-ready rubberized Converse All-Star! Click Read More to check out what I am talking about, and all the other new releases.

Shinagawa: Japanese Lasik and Aesthetics Clinic in Makati

Shinagawa, Japan's popular clinic for top-of-the-line LASIK technology, is now open in the Philippines! And they are offering more than just eye surgery procedures.

One thing I swore one million years ago when it comes to fashion (lolol), was that I will never ever (ever!) wear cropped top. You'll never see me parading my belly button for the fetish-world to take a double look at (haha, peace!), but that's just me! :) Go ahead and do your thing, but I will always be the conservative kind of sexy (ipupush ko na yan! Hahaha!).

Red lipstick and messy hair - more my thing.

Anyway, I like this black floral appliqu├ęs top I got from People are People months ago, a store I seldom go to nowadays, and then go out ng may nabibili--unlike nung high school parang it was the only store! Haha! Along with Fish and Anonymous, lolol. Wore a denim cover 'cause we also watched a movie that day, and you know naman our polar vortex cinemas hahaha.
Ikaw, what's that one piece of clothing or style na sinwear mo nadin na you'll never be seen wearing?

I still bought this top though 'cause I find it pretty and parang art na I can apply to a wedding…
