Happy New Year!

I don't know how people usually celebrate New Year's Eve nowadays, but to my family, we gather in the kitchen in our pambahays for some (literal) healthy, friendly competition. Last night, though, time ticked sooo fast that when the clock struck 12, I was still in the kitchen reheating my dishes! Add to the pressure was the noise from the riot-combination of fire crackers + aso + cars beeping their horns + my 1989 playlist. Nastress ako! While eating, the family agreed on thinking of something else for next new year, and drop the whole Cooking Master Boy thing. With that, we also looked back on all our past dishes and realized that we've been doing this for TEN YEARS already! We actually started doing this para mapahinga naman si mom sa kusina kahit one day lang. :)


Anyway, first day of the year was spent oversleeping (after watching BEYONCE interviews on Youtube the whole night, hehehe), and then went out to hear mass and eat out in ATC (Shi Lin). It was a simple day, but I enjoyed EVERYTHING and nilalasap ko talaga all the rest and bumming around life while I still can. I am pretty sure it's going to be a busy, hustle year again!
