The Bellevue Manila Staycation with Ava

Monday, February 22, 2016

Better late than never!

Here's one of the best staycations I had from late last year with @artsyava at The Bellevue Manila. Although I'm actually living in the south already, it's nice to go somewhere new for me in a place that I call home.

Also, I take pride in touring friends around and introducing them to good ol' Alabang! Hehe!

Before heading to our rooms, we were assisted to another lobby called the Signature Lounge for a more convenient check-in. While waiting, we were served with water, coffee, juice (or all of the above, hehe).

Everything's very tastefully designed in this hotel. As they put it now, very "Instagram-worthy".

Overnight lang, so Ava and I brought just 1 backpack each. Coincidentally, we're both using our Herschel!

A few minutes later, we were assisted to our room.

It's so big and spacious, that when the hotel staff left us, we almost danced! Haha!

This is Bellevue Manila's Signature Deluxe room:

We had these huge beds to ourselves! I think this room can comfortably accommodate 4 persons!

The beautiful view of the green green south:

The Bellevue Manila is recommended for those who want a staycation away from EDSA's busy roads. When you're staying here, you can also easily WALK to malls, restaurants, and other easy-access Alabang destinations. Also in Alabang, we take pride in our beautiful environment with lesser pollution and lots of greens.. so yep, everything's walking distance!

Back in our room...

Ample closet and bag storage for out things, kitchenette with the usual bottled water and coffee sets:

Desks and lots of electrical outlets here and there for those who are staying in for business:

Our room's restroom is also super huge, clean, and inviting! Aside from the usual towels, hand towels, hair dryer, etc...

They also have Acca Kappa bath essentials! These won me over, hehe.

I also like the overhead shower and tub options.

After freshening up, we then went out for a Tour of Filinvest City, and to witness Christmas at Filinvest City! Read more on this jam-packed but fun afternoon HERE.

Ready to go!

When we got back, we received these treats on our bed (yey!). They also invited us to Bellevue's Vue Bar for some drinks and music, but Ava and I decided to go for something else...

... The Azurea Spa! The spa's operating hours is just from 1pm-11pm, but we made it just in time for a well-deserved full body massage.

The waiting area, where we had yummy hot ginger tea:

Inside the jacuzzi area. There's no one else there at that time, it's nice to have this place all to ourselves!

We spent around 10-15 minutes here. Could have stayed longer with the pleasant steam, and our one million stories!

But of course, massage time!

Even their massage rooms have tubs, and a beautiful ambiance! One of the best that I've seen and tried!

Well, for the rest of the night we:

1) Had midnight snack at the nearby Jollibee right next to the hotel. There are lots of walking distance fast foods and mini marts in the area that are mostly open 24 hours, yey!

2) Worked on Bloggers United stuff using our room's free and fast wifi, while Ava was on Facetime with her babies.

3) Watched TV via our room's wide flat screen, till we fell asleep.

It's so sad that we have to leave early the next day for an event, and so we had our breakfast buffet (super good spread, I must say) before packing up and checking out.

It's a short but sweet stay, but true to its 5-star title, I've seen that The Bellevue Manila sets a great standard in terms of cleanliness, hotel interior aesthetics, great food, complete amenities, and superb service. I have a lot to try pa so I will definitely be back!

Everything's great, but I think what made this a pleasant stay are the polite and very helpful staff. Definitely one of the best hotels in Alabang!
