Century Superbods Day 2-3

Tuesday, May 20, 2014

Personally, I think I will never get tired of Boracay.

I know it gets old to some of you, or minsan minsan naman gusto din natin matry the other local beaches... But there will be summers when you'll remember Boracay's charm, it's welcoming white sands, clear waters, yummy fruit shakes, and happy people...

After I think 4 years, I finally went back to Boracay! It was technically for "work", but eto pala yung work na doesn't feel like work at all! ;p For the day 2 of the Century Tuna Superbods event, ang first agenda namin was to cover the Zumba party!

With BNO's Sam yg:

With my co-host David Guison:

David and I also interviewed Century Tuna's Project Head Ms. Gela Gamboa:

After our morning duties, we had the whole afternoon to ourselves!

Swimming uli!!! ;p

Terno Veloci water-resistant watches with David:

With the Mad Team, off we go to Puka Beach! First time ko to go there, and it only took us one tricycle ride (around Php150/tric)!

Puka Beach ang tawag sa kanya because, instead of the white sands, dito halos mabato at panay puka shells. Worth it sya dayuhin because it is less commercialized compared to the White Beach na kahit saan ka lumingon panay brands / logos / events na ang makikita mo. Dito wala masyadong resort, wala masyadong tao, just clear beach na perfect place for quiet time.

Some of my Summer 2014 favorite people: Kaloy, Raj, Nico, and David.

Got this from Kaloy's IG, with the caption "silong".

From my perspective naman, hi Kaloy! Nawala yung sando niya nyan, inalon! Haha!

We spent just a few hours here, perfect escape lang from work, from people, and finally felt what Boracay and vacation is all about. We had snacks (may baon talaga sila, CHEETOS!!!), took our OOTDs / new pang profile pic (haha), and kulitan lang while swimming or hanging out sa silong. We also took turns with Raj's underwater camera, and shared "secrets" on how to take selfies ng hindi ka lulutang kaagad (haha), o yung wala masyadong bubbles sa photo, or kahit nakacontact lens ka! ;p

I really had fun and naappreciate ko the Mad team more after this detour! After Puka Beach, we went back to our hotels na to prepare for the afternoon's affair: Finally, the finals night of the Century Super Bods!

When I entered our room, I saw these treats from Gardenia! Thank you, I buy their wheat bread na may raisins kaya sobrang tuwa ko when I saw these!

Went out just in time for sunset, and walked to the Pearl of the Pacific. Our resort was near DMall na, so all the walks we took to the meeting place was actually malayo, but naeenjoy ko naman:

When we reached the meeting place, saw 2013's Superbod John Spainhour on a shoot with Karen Pamintuan:

Sunset photo with my MadTV partner Papi David! ;) Naks! Deserve na deserve nya. Thanks sa lahat ng laughtrip dude!

This was the venue where all the awarding was held later that night. I wasn't able to take pictures of the happenings na because I was hosting din while we were watching the whole show. Again, challenge sya compared to just going there as my normal blogger self, but ang dami ko din natutunan. For the list of winners, read my post here.

Sooobrang exhausted and pigang piga after the show (haha), and also it was our last night na, so with my Clingies Paul and Sarah, we decided to get some Jonah's Shake and Mojos before heading back to our hotel. Few hours left nalang before their flight (napaaga yung kanila), so halos walang tulugan nadin for them! I felt anxious na it's the end of the trip narin, in a way, although for me I have the whole afternoon pa para sulitin na ang Boracay.

My 2 other favorite people:

Woke up to breakfast buffet, minus Sarah and Paul. :( David and I planned to maximize our last few hours by... Going on a food trip! Last day naman na, so kainan naaa! Haha! The other Mad people also went home na, but we were still with Kaloy and Rob. David took us to his favorite chill spot in Boracay:
The Spider House.

Sana butterflies nalang, haha! ;p (Nabuong inside joke)

Ang sarap dito kasi, compared to Puka Beach, dito may silong naman. Ang sarap lang, if given more time, to overstay on these hammocks, read, take more pictures, swim, or even try their other food!

;p Haha! I bought this very 50s swimsuit from ForMe na ang cute ng floral print on blue, and it's less than P1500 lang! Thanks @robpotograpi for taking my photos! ;)

More cold drinks while just appreciating this view:

Group photo with the Mad team! This was our last picture before we went on our own hotels na to pack up, and then wait for our kanya-kanyang shuttles. Thanks guys! Basta mas nalove ko pa kayo lalo after this trip! :) < 3 Cheers! Hahaha!

Thank you CenturyTuna.ph and MadhouseMNL.com! :)
