Print Digital Photos with Instax Share!

Thursday, February 27, 2014

Although dinala ko naman my Fuji Instax Mini 8 during my US trip, there will be days na naiiwan ko na sha sa hotel o house ng relatives ko dun.

Or minsan naman, with Instax, hindi ko maachieve the right settings and angle.

Or right smile o pose sa photo (yessss!). Alam nyo yung hirit nila pag linabas na ang Instax, "O dapat perfect na yan a, one take lang yan!"

Analog problems! (Plus, tipid-sa-film problems. ;p)

Dito papasok the new craze in printed photos, meet the Fuji Instax Share SP-1:

With the new Instax Share, I was able to print some of my US trip highlights (aka me, me, me, iba iba lang background, lol)...best of all, print them Instax style! Iba padin ang cool-factor of these wallet size prints noh?

Printing with the Instax Share is WIRELESS. Just follow these really easy steps:

1) Download the Instax Share app in your smartphone:

2) Turn on the printer, and then your phone's Wi-Fi. Choose and connect to the printer SSID (which you can see at the bottom of the printer).

3) Select a photo from your albums, Social Networking Sites, or take a new picture:

4) Once image is selected, tap Edit to scale, rotate, brighten, or change the filter of the photo:

If you want, you can also add a text caption:

5) When editing is completed, just tap on the Connect and Print!

Last week, I attended the Instax Share launch to get to know this product more:

Other than the digital photos you want to print Instax-style, I also got the idea of having your ARTWORKS printed---just like these watercolor text and flowers by crafter and blogger Alessa Lanot:

Cute idea on how to display your Instax prints:

Also, Ms. Alessa held a Crafternoon during the event with Sharpie and Paper Blush!

We got busy designing our mini accordion albums with our old photos --printed with Instax Share, and then decorated with Sharpie pens and Paper Blush's washi tapes, clips, and cut-outs:

Interested? :) You can now pre-order Instax Share SP-1:

Ankle Boots for Girls

Popular Trends in the Realm of Girls' Boots
When it comes to ankle boots for girls, there are a number of fashionable trends that are gaining in popularity. One of those trends is wearing a pair of stylish ankle boots with leggings. Young girls in elementary school are wearing their ankle boots with colorful leggings that they pair with a long sweater or perhaps an oversized t-shirt. Consider a few of the other fashion trends that involve stylish boots for young girls.

Ankle Boots and Denim Skirts
Girls are wearing their ankle boots with a pair of tights and a jeans skirt. The skirt may feature light or dark colored denim. Many of them are wearing this outfit to school during the cold weather months. The tights keep their legs warm and the boots are great for walking in the snow! Some girls wear tights in a color that matches their boots while others choose tights that are dramatically different in color from their footwear. Either way, girls can keep their feet warm and dry in their boots while still looking incredibly stylish!

Ankle Boots and Skinny Jeans
Pairing ankle boots with skinny jeans is another popular trend with young girls. They are choosing skinny jeans in a variety of different colors. Some wear ankle boots in a neutral color and pair them blue or black skinny jeans. Alternatively, some girls choose a pair of white skinny jeans to go with their colorful ankle boots. This is a fun outfit that a girl can wear to school, to the movies or to a friend's house for a party. A girl who wants to take part in this fashion trend may opt do something like shop UGG to look for appealing ideas.

Ankle Boots and Corduroy Bottoms
Finally, there are girls in elementary school who are choosing to pair their favorite ankle boots with a colorful pair of corduroy pants. Corduroy pants are a desirable option because they are available in a variety of designs including boot cut, tapered and relaxed. Pink, white, yellow or green corduroys are some of the most popular choices of young girls who want a pair of pants to wear with their boots. Alternatively, girls who prefer to wear skirts are opting for a corduroy skirt to wear with their ankle boots. A comfy sweater put with corduroy bottoms and ankle boots is a favorite outfit with many girls.

Color Block and Writer's Block

Hi guys!

...I think I've forgotten how to blog!

I used blog every night-- kahit tired na, right after school or events. I can't help but click open my Jurassic PC or laptop, scratch the ISP internet card I bought with my baon using a limang piso, and then just talk about the day's rundown to anyone willing to read my tiny space in the World Wide Web. Every photo walang palyang naka caption. And every caption--although minsan over-sharing, interesting.

Ngayon, I am not sure if it's burnout ba or my busier schedule resulting to mental block pag kaharap ko na si laptop, but I feel na the past days or so I've lost that touch. I Googled about writer's block, and saw a lot of sites na may tips on battling the enemy. Here are some of them..

1. Have a specific writing time / schedule.
2. Meanwhile, make sure to also give yourself writing breaks to recharge (your creative juices).
3. Take it easy. Don't punish yourself by forcing to come up with something.
4. Change venue / consider a fresh space where you can write from time to time.

And last but not the least, 5) Write anyway.
Like what I am doing now! Bahala na bukas if this is worth reading / sharing... But for now the best way to get back on track is freewriting--so type away! Post away! Jan ako magaling! Hahaha!

I hope to post more photos and day-to-day kwentos. Ang daming FUUUN that happened the past days sana hindi lumipas without documentation ....which is my sole purpose for starting a diary / blog anyway. ;)

Giordano Concepts Store Opens at the Mega Fashion Hall

Saturday, February 22, 2014

Ilang weeks nadin na I'll go for pants and flats in a heartbeat. Nevermind that every girl in the room is wearing a dress or skirt, to me, wearing my clothes as is and hindi na kailangan magbaon ng napakabigat na heels or pamalit keeps my bag lighter.

A nice shirt like this Giordano New York design makes this comfy/commuter-friendly look a bit more interesting. The collection also comes in other cities and countries like Brooklyn, LDN, and Coney Island.

Welcome to the new Giordano! Giordano Concepts simplifies the process for its customers, by presenting them foundation pieces that match different personal styles.

“The Giordano brand has always been about providing high-quality, classic pieces for everyone. With Giordano Concepts, we take this commitment a step further with casual basics that are characterized by clean, classic lines, perfect for the sophisticated set’s discerning personality and suitable for their daily activities,” said Larry Lim, Giordano Philippines CEO and President.

The store itself is like a personal wardrobe that awaits any wearer character to make it come to life.

Giordano Philippines celebrated the opening of its flagship Giordano Concepts store with the class and style of the Victorian era at the new Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall, last February 19, 2014.

The themed event was graced by the country’s premier fashion editors, popular fashion bloggers, A-list celebrities and models.
