Fairview Terraces invited me and ALL my blog friends to enjoy their mall for almost one full "fieldtrip-ish" day. It was also my first time there, so naexcite din ako what's there for us.

Today is my first day back in the school. Not yet for regular classes, but more of for first day (re)orientation and getting used to. Reprogramming. I love that I woke up in a more chilly Manila, and I am also excited for tonight's Sam Tsui-Kurt Schneider concert. Again, I am not sure on what to expect from all these things, but the uncertainties, the newness--from school to the concert--made them more appealing to go through.

Wore this during the Sam Tsui - Kurt Schneider presscon a few days ago, and got a "Nice Shirt!" compliment again, from Sam naman, lol! They're going to perform TONIGHT and TOMORROW at the SMX, so go get your tickets na! :) 

Anyway, I thought it was going to rain that day, thus:

I wonder how people really maintain their regimen. I used to moisturize my skin before, every night before bed. May time na I can't even sleep ng hindi pa nag lolotion! Then eventually I got tired or too busy to keep up with my routine. 

So here's an interesting new product from NIVEA for people like me who are: 1) too on-the-go to have skincare regimens, and 2) not a fan of the oily sticky lotion-ed skin (especially in this weather!)

Ayala Malls' Style Origin is fast becoming a "tradition" to me. I've been to at least one show (in different Ayala Malls like Alabang Town Center, Harbor Point in Pampanga, and Greenbelt) every year to witness what's new from several merchants of my favorite shopping sites. Yesterday's event in Trinoma is a bit different and more special, though, some of my blog friends highlighted the runway!

Sadly, I haven't been to Vigan. I think I've passed by this charming city, but the family or my barkada haven't stayed there for a day or 2, so I always envy seeing the pictures (and feeling vintage ootds! ;D) of my friends who've been there.

Second Star to the Right


Sobrang thrilled ako when I stepped out of the house yesterday in layers. The first time I went out of our gate, secretly enjoying the cloudy gloomy day, but then *plock*. One to 2 steps away palang from our house, *plock*plock*. Naputikan na the back of my legs and my velvet-ish seafoam green ballet flats, so I went back and changed to save my cutesy shoes (#mejomaarte, hehe). Tweaked the supposed all-soft look and wore my tough black buckled boots instead, and with the tights (na hindi ko sadyang may torn details, haha)--So second round, rain ready!!!

Surprise for Dad No.2: Hillsong United Manila Concert!

After the material gifts and surprise for dad (read here), I felt spontaneous last Friday to give him an even more memorable Father's Day by purchasing Hillsong United tickets even at the last minute. The best part is, we were able to watch the concert as a family. :) Long lines and wasted time? Worth it!


Sharing our experience through this video. It's one of the most beautiful concerts I've been to, the lights glow, the crowd felt one. Vid taken with my iPhone5, and we were far from the stage, but audio is pretty decent. :) Enjoy and may God bless you and your families. :)

Zalora: Just For Dads


Seeing all of the Father's Day posts on Facebook today, I'd like to share my mini surprise for my own dad a few days in advance. This is surprise Number 1.

Before the actual surprise, I chose several items from zalora.com.ph that I can give to my daddy, and I picked 2 pairs of espadrilles, workout clothes, boxers, and shirts. My total for ALL THESE is Php3000 only!

Dorothy Perkins Opens in SM Megamall, Celebrates 10th Year


To be honest, I always feel that I am more of a Dorothy Perkins girl than a Topshop girl (both great brands under one amazing giant umbrella called the RSSI). I am not really street style cool like the Topshop kids, but Dorothy Perkins satisfies my different but all feminine style preferences: sometimes madam, sometimes boho, sometimes picnic / 50s girl.

I know, I know. There are A LOT of clothing brands na that are your go-to whenever you shop for another season or get a closet makeover... But other than Topshop or Dorothy Perkins--guys, you just have to get to know SHANA:


Shana is a Spanish brand that also belongs to the RSSI family (our favorites Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins, Warehouse, River Island, etc). Their new collections of trendy clothing and accessories come out every week, but what I love most about Shana is their very reasonable price range. Most of the items I got earlier cost below Php1000!
